Opotiki, this day. Quite a gloom was cdsh over/thiß disbricb when news was broughb in bhab Mr Arthur Chapman, of Noaltohi, one df our most respected citizens, had met hia*" death through a gun accidenb. No .particulars are yet to hand. An inquesb will be hold tbis afternoon.
