THE TOKATEA G.M. COMPANY. With reference to the paragraph in our "Anglo-Colonial Notes ".yesterday stating thab Mr ;j.. B. Whyte was, acting as representative of Messrs Seymour George and Erater ) with respecb bo the Tokatea mine, and had-arranged with Mr Witheford to float ib in conjunction with a larger area, we learn bhab the statemenb is incor- | recb. Mr Whyte was nob agent for Messrs ; George and Fraber, nor was Mr Wibheford I aubhorised in any way by bhem bo deal with the mine. The gentleman who acted as agent for tho Tokatea has senb advices bhat the mine was successfully floated in London, 'bub tall terms and arrangements will not be known until the arrival of the San Francisco mail.
