KAURI GUM MARKET.
Auckland, Wednesday, June 5. The market continues quiofc for poor gradaa of gum, with a slight inquiry for bebter grades at lower rafces. Prices, however, show little change aa holders are firm in their demands, and moat of the transactions that have taken place daring bho week were ab full rates. Sales of Easb Coast are reported as low as 675, and as high as 70s, ib being purely a question of quality of the sample. The average price for good East Coast remains as before 68s. Supplies of gum for the month of May totalled 581 tone, and for the five days of June 67 tons came to hand. The monthly auction gales of gum take placo in London to-morrow.
