Ddnedtn, this day. Minnie Dean was charged at Milton this morning iviMi murdering Eva Hornsby. The police explained thab thoy expected to find the child's body at Clarendon, but it had been discovered in the accused's garden at Winton, therefore the case had to be taken to Invercargill. Mr Hanlon, for tho defence, o.fiering no objection, the accused waa remanded to appear at Invert c argill on Thursday next. Invercargill, this day. Charles Dean was charged this morning with the murder of two infants, and was remanded on tho application of the police till the 23rd May.
