BROKEN HILL MINES.
London, May 7.
.Mr Howell, manager of the Broken Hill Proprietary Mine, in an interview/ denied a report that he did not prop.ose to return to Broken Hill. The mine, he said, had free milling ores which would last two years and a half, but then it would be necessary to face refractory sulphides. .
