The "Gazette" contains reduced rates ab; which the following goods will be carriedV^--Firewood (atv owner's risk), house blocks (at owner's rißk), old iron, rails for Scrap. and iron scrap, lime, gas iron refuse, lime, gas,. retuae, lime from local kilns consigned to country sbations for agricultural purposes, or to'ship for export, lime from local kilns for cecnenb making, liroeßbone (at owner's risk),;posts:; and rails., The rates are to be as follows:*:-—\ Up boi 7 miles, classified rates as;at preßenb'; 8 milps, 8s 6d per truck ; from 9 to 12 miles, ' 9s per truck ; from 13 to 30 miles, classified rateß as at.present. For each additional; mile over, 30 miles and up to 80 miles 4d ,: per truck will be added to the rate for 30 miles."-,. Over 80 miles up to 150 miles 3d per ; truck will be added to the rate for 80 miles. For each additional five miles or fraction i , bbereof beyond 150 miles. Is 3d per truck will be added to tho rates for 150 miles. Tallow from .Mouhb Eden bo Weßbfield is Ito be charged 3s 6d per ton, the minimum charge being 7s.
