Sydney, February 23. The cricket match, New South Wales v, South Australia, was resumed to-day, the weather.being fine, bub the light dull. The wicket was in splendid trim, and.the South Apsbralia.ne, in'their first innings, occupied the creases until within half an hour of the drawing of the stumps, compiling 304 runs, which giv^a them a lead of'6s over their opponents.on the first innings. Giffen was just getting nicely to work when he had the misfortune to play McKibbin on to his wickets. The partnership between Pyer and Darling .was the moafc productive of runs, for between them they scored 152 by free and faultless crick.e.b, in spite of numerous changes of bowUiig. iseedman and young Hill showed nice form. Kelly, the New South Wales wickebkeeper, received a nasty injury to. bis hand in stopping a hob one. He was .disabled fQCthe day, and ib js iJqubtful whether he will be able to play in t!iQ remainder of the match.
