A good class of country is still being penetrated on Jones' load in the eastern drive ab the 100 foot level. The lode is composed of nice, kindly-looking quartz, which shows good etrong colours of gold each breaking down. There are two stopes in hand here, but the quartz coming to hand from both ia of very low grade. The usual number of men are still being employod on the Golden Age footwall leads and the Dawn of Hope lead above the Point Ruasell level. The amalgam to hand for the week is 40ozs from 76 tons of quartz, and lOozs from 141 tons surface dust.
