Lyttelton, this dey. A son of Mv John Mills, stevedore, Port Chalmers, foil ot the wharf near the Rimutaka at midnight last night. His cries attracted, the attention of Mr Mardin, fourth officer of the steamer, who promptly jumped overboad. and.brought Mills oub. The labter was much exhausted. He was taken on board the steamer where he soon recovered.
