In connection with the i murder in Bathursb gaol, a coroner's jury waajQbosen of ',six, prisoners and six free men., The former, however, stated there*wasVetrong feeling amongsb the other prisoners against their acting in auch a capacity, and threats of violence had been made if a verdict of murder was .returned. They were consequently discharged, and tax free men empanelled. A verdicb of murder was returned.
