The various championship crickeb matches which commenced pn December 22nd were continued on Saburday lasb on bhe Domain oval. A large number of spectators were rpresenb, mosb interest being taken in the United—Parnell contest. The former team had scored 160 runs in their first innings, and Parnell had 42 runs to their credit for the loss oi one wickeb when play resumed on Saturday. I. Mills and Ohlson, the two nob opt batsmen, carried the total to 7p before the former was bowled for 28.
