RAILWAY CHANGES.

. Wellington, this day. The following railway changes have been decided upon:— Mr Maltby, resident engineer, /retire". .' Mr Coom, resident engineer, is transferred from Auckland to Dunedin./' Mr Macdonald, locomotivo manager, Auckland, takes Mr Cbom's place. ■Mr Fox, district manager, Picton,- succeeds Mr McDonald as loco - manager, Auckland. Mr Oarstio, traffic manager, Napier, succeeds Mr Fox as district manager. Mr Pilcher, Secretary to the Commissioners takes Mr Garetin'e place in Napier. The salaries of most, of the clerical officers and district managers are reduced by amounts ranging from £25 to £oO each.
