A Boy's Composition.
In a public school in New England the teacher thought she would give one natural history subjects as subjects for composition. In this way she teaches them English orthography and natural history all at once. The commonplace subjecb of • Ants ' was given to a bright boy who said ho knew alj aboub it. This ie tho result of his efforts: Ants. •Thoro is many kinds of aubs My anb Mary Jane is one of thes6 kind. Sho is genlly good natured and when she comes to see My Mobher she brings mo 5 cents worth of penubs and tells me Why James how you've growed bub when I go and see her and don't only jusb waulk on the carpib without) cleening my boots she gits orfly mad.
Auts like to give you Advice and scold at you like everything but their Hart is in the Wrighb Plaice and once I found a Ants nest in the woods I poked it with a stick and a million Ants ran out after me and Crawled up Inside my Pants and Bit me like Sixty.
Ants nests aro good Thingß nob to poke with a stick Ants aro very indusbrious in Steeling Shugar.
I forgob to say that my Anb Martha lives in Alain she hns a boy of Just my Aige and he can stand on his Hed Five minits and how Doy you suppose he can Do all This.
