Sydney, December 21
The Government appointed a committee to examine the journals of the Council, and the Committee reported that the Council had not yet finished the Appropriation Bill. The. House .then roaumed, the Premier stating they would do nothing until the Council had finished its work. The Government had decided upon this course of action. The Council is now discuseing the Appropriation Bill. There seems to. be a tendency to re-insert the vota at ruck out, and thus avert a crisis. Later. The Council reinstated the vote, but claimed the right to alter money bills, except ffhen they related to taxation.'
