Nobfolk.—The mine manager reports that the drive on the California reef ab the Missouri level has been extended a further distance of 14 feeb. Though the country being passed through is rather tight for headway ib is of a good description for gold. Oblando.—The mine manager reports that the leading stope is being taken along. The leader in aboub 6 inches in thickness. The quartz carries mineral and is' of a promising appearance, although no gold bas lately been seen.
