ANNUAL MEETING.

THE fourteenth meeting of the Industrial and Providenb Building Land and Investmenb Society was held ab the Society s offices in Queen-streeb, on Friday afternoon. Mr Henry G. Wade (president) presided. The Manager, Mr Bancroft, submitted the annual reporb and balance-eheeb (published in Friday's issue). ~„„«„„ The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the reporb, said thab building societies had been on their trial tor some time, but during, tho pasb year the members of this Society might congratulate themselves that they had come out of the ordeal very well indeed. In fact there.were now signs of returning prosperity.
