Is order to bring this interesting work within the reach of a wider circle of readers a popular edition has now been issued in cartridge-paper covers ab 3s 6d per copy ; and in clotb.gilt, at ss. Tho type, papßr and illustrations of the popular edition are equal in quality to the original edition at Mr W. L. and Lily Rees, the jomb authors of this interesting book, brought to their task a devotion which could not fail in its purpose of presenting Sir Georgo Grey as a vivid personality. They had free access to all the public documents referring to Sir Georgo Grey's remarkable career in Western Australia, South Aastralia, New Zealand, and South Africa. As far as the colony ia concerned, an acquaintance with Sir George Grey's life implies a knowledge of the most interesting feature* of New Zealand history. No better book than this can be placed in the hands of the young. We have no doubt that in its cheaper forms the work will have a wide aale.
