ROUGH ON RATS.

Chbistchurch, this day. A carpenter named Alexander Malcom, who .came recently from Timaru,,' took a doae of rough on rats this -homing. He was taken to bhe hospital, and remedial measures'were successfully applied. Malcom had been drinking lately. He was on good terms with his wife and family.
