Wellington, September 23.—The Shaw Savill and Albion steamer lonic, from London via the Cape and Hobarfc, arrived as 6.30 to-night). Passengers for. Auckland :—Saloon: Mr and Mrs 0. Toy, E. Martin, A. Martin, M. Pope, L. Robinson, Messrs A. dole, W. Edmonds, F. Gough, O. Humphreys, J. Lawes and J. Moriarity. The lonic is in command of Captain Lindsay, her old commander (Capt. Kidley) having stayed behind- in London probably to assume charge of the Gothic. The steamer brings some high class pedigree stock consisting of two Shropshire rams and one shorthorn bull for Mr Williams of Hawke's Bay, and two Romuey March rams for Mr Tnrnbull of Lyttelton. The lonic leaves on Tharsday for Lyttelton.
