The body of the late Mr J. J. Swinnerton, who died while on a visit) to Chrisbchurch last week, arrived by the h.s. Takapuna yesterday m.orning, and was interred in O'Neill's Point Cemetery, Devonporb, in the afternoon in the presence of a large gathering of friends of the deceased. The principal mourners vra-a Mr A. Swinnerton and Mr W. Swinnerton, sons of the deceased, and Mr Burgees and Mr Mann, sons-in-law of the deceased. The Rev. J. Bates, of Holy Trinity Church, conducted the faneral service.
