, The barquentine Rio leaves Napier for this port in a day or two, she having been chartered to take the Examiner's cargo of timber (now on the Hobson-atreet wharf) to Sydney. The a.B. Manapouri, which arrived at Wellington yesterday afternoon, had a rough passage from Sydney. During the heavy gales which raged principally from the S.E. i a boat was smashed and one horse killed.
