Dunedin, thia day. At the Education Board there was a stormy discussion over the action of a-country Committee in refusing to accept as a teacher a girl, because she happened to be a Catholic. The Board, by 4 to 2, agreed to urge the Committee to reconsider their decision, »nd gire fcbe girl a favourable reception.
