NEWTON PIGEON AND CANARY CLUB.

The annual meeting oi: the Newton Pigeon and Canary Club was held last uighb in the basement of the; Foreitera Hall. Mr W. B. Sowden, President of toe Club, presided. There was a large attendance of members. The fifth annual report) was read. This showed the membership of the Club had increased by 13 during the year, the total number of members now being 72. By the hearty co-operation of members and friends the Committee had been enabled to pay off £16 odd, due to members who had advanced paymenb for peue.
