Reduction of Salary.—With reference to the proposed reduction of teachers salaries, Mr B. Bailey, Ponsonby School, wrote directing the attention of the Board to clause 47 of the Education Act, and claiming three months notice of redaction of salary. The Chairman moved he thought Mr Bailey was right. He gave notice to move at the next meeting tbab the reduction of salaries take effect from the Ist of October instead of the Ist of August.
