COLONEL FOX'S RESIGNATION.

Wellington', this day. It appears from a notice in the c" Army and Navy Gazotte," that Colonel Fox's resignation from the Imperial Army was tendered as ho wished his retirement from the New Zealand service to be "on gratuity." Colonel Fox states thab his resolution is due bo private reasons only, and has no connection with the dispute with the Minister of Defence. He has applied to be placed on the British Army reserve list, and expects this to be gazetted in the next issue.
