Christchurch, thia day

Hugh Robert Rich, charged with stealing £500, the property of the National Bank, was before the Police Court this morning. After evidence as to his confesaion of the robbery had been given, he reserved his defence and waa committed for trial. Bail waa allowed in hia own recognisance of £500, and two sureties of £250 each.
