It was reported to the police about 10,30 this morning that a child named Mary Ann Lewis, aged.two months and bhree weeks was found dead at six o'clock in ber cot by her father, who resides in Brewer's Lane, off Grey-street. The child had been in a weak Btate since birth It appears tbab the father was awakened about midnight by the crying of the child, and he gob out; of bed and gave it a feeding bottle. The child immediately ceased crying, and the father returned to bed, where he remained until this morning, when he found the little ona in the cot dead. The circumstances of the c ase wera forwarded to Dr. Philson., ■ _
