MAGISTRATE'S COURT.—(THIS DAY.)
(Before H. W. Northcroffc, Esq., S.M.) JUDGMENT SUMMONSES.
A. J. Entrican and Co. v. Henry Roberts* This'was an application by the judgment debtor to rescind an order made by His Worship on the 16fcU day of May last. Mr McGregor appeared for the judgment creditor and the debtor appeared in person. After hearing the debtor's statement and Mr McGregor in reply, His Worship declined to rescind the order. Maby McCltmont v. Frank Symons.— Claim, £3 16s 7d.—Mr McGregor appeared for the judgment creditor. Tbe debtor was examined as to his means, and Captain Nearing gave evidence* aa to his earnings. The Magistrate ordered tbe debtor to pay 2s 6d per week until the whole amount was paid. destithte pbrsons act. Emma Skevington v. Wm. Skevington. —This was a case brought against defendant for failing to provide his wife and child with adequate moans or support, and was adjourned from Saturday.—Mr Napier, who appeared for the defendant, said an amicable arrangement bad been arrived at, and after tho Magistrate fiddreseed a few words to the defendant, the case was struck out.. ■ .
