AUCKLAND COURSING CLUB.
TO-MORROW'S MEETING.
To-morrow the June Meeting of the Auckland Coursing Club commences at the. Avondale Plumpton, the second day being fixed for Saturday.* The attraction of the, meeting is the Greab Northern Challenge Stakes, the winner of, which will receive a,! substantial amoun b. A number of leading coursing men of tbe colony are ab present in Auckland, and also several Australians, so that thesporb should be something outof tho common. The Committee of the Club have arranged for a consolation stake for doge pub out on the Ist and 2nd round of the Challenge Stakes. Nominations close on . Thursday night at 8 o'clock at. the BritishHotel, and the draw takes place one hour later. There will also be an unlimited All* Aged Stakes for all dogs no* having ac-^ cepted in the Great Northern Challenge Stakes. Nominations close ab the British Hotel to-nighb. The Club promise to hsve a successful meeting. y ■ ,
