The s.«. Manapouri {took her departure for Sydney at 6.30 p.m. last evening. The s.b. Australia sailed at 5 o'clock yesterday for Wellingbon via East Coasb ports. The Mission schooner Southern Cross was floated into the Dock ; to-day for an overhaul. The barque Rangitikei was berthed' at Quay-street Jetty to-day, where she commences loading for London. The Union S.S. Company have received advice of bhe arrival of the Maori (Wellington 27th January) at London. All well. The s.s. Hinemoa sailed laab evening on a pleasure cruise to Rarotonga, Cook Group, and adjacent islands. Ib is thoughb bhab bhe cruise of the Hinemoa will occupy at leasb five weeks.
The s.s. Ovalau arrived from Dunedin, via East Coasb ports ab 8 p.m. yesterday, with a full cargo of produce. The Ovalau left Dimedin March 12th, and with the excepbion of a south-west gale between Lyttelton and Napier, and rough weabher to Gisborne, fine weather was experienced on bhe ran up the coasb.
