THE ANARCHISTS.
ANOTHER FRENCH OUTRAGE,
ONE PERSON KILLED AND
TWENTY INJURED.
Paris, February 13. A young Anarchist named Breton, in revenge for Vaiilant's execution, entered the Cafd Lagaire, at the Terminus Hotel, Paris, and threw a bomb. The explosion killed one person and injured fifteen others. The perpetrator made desperate efforts to escape, and severely wounded a policeman and a woman with a revolver before he was captured. The mob endeavoured to lynch the prisoner, who declares that further outrages have been arranged. Twenty persons in all were injured by the explosion. The press demands that stringent laws should be levelled against Anarchists. Breton, who comes from Marseilles, boasted he was avenging Vaiilant's death. The bomb was in an ordinary sardine box.
