MISSING FRIENDS.

The following inquiries for missing relatives are taken from " Lloyd's Weekly Newspaper:"— Henly (John), tailor, went to New Zealand some 20 years ago, and corresponded regularly until two years back. He was then living near Dunedin, Otago, N.Z. His mother Beekß him.

Blackett (James and Thomas) are inquired for, by Bister Mary and brother Edward. James sailed for New Zealand in the ship Marvel (Captain Baker) in 1849, and last wrote from Australia about 30 years back. Thomas left England in 1865 to go to the Cape; last beard of from Pretoria, S. Africa; fighting as a Volunteer under Sir Owen Lanyon. Poole (Thomaß) left London 21 years ago for Canterbury, New Zealand, and has not been heard of since. His brother (W.H.P.) Clements (David) went to New Zealand about 12 or 14 years Bince. Brother Jacob would be glad to hear from him. Jones (George) wrote from St. Louis, U.S.A., in 1885, but is since supposed to have gone to Auckland, New Zealand. Brother Fred asks. Hawkes (Mrs James), nee Ellen Welsh, formerly employed at Whiteley's, Westbourne Grove; last wrote home in 1887 from Eltham, Taranaki, New Zealand. Sister Maggie asks. From Gibraltar:—John Macgrath left Bath, in the County of Somerset, about the year 1840 for New Zealand. His brother Robert anxiously seeks news of him, as in February last he had come to England to see bim (Robert), and returned to Australia (Melbourne) without doing co. Golletb (Alfred and Elizabeth) ore sought by their sister Caroline. Alfred, in July, 1860, was with the 47th regiment in New Zealand ; Elizabeth, ab Brownhill, P. 0., Ballarat, in July, 1858. Walsh or Wash (Mrs Kate), nee Bradford, last wrote to her sister, Mrs Knight, [when her.husband had a cattle, farm 100, miles above Auckland, New Zealand.
