A woman wa; fined 5s for drunkenness or in defaulb 48 hours' imprisonmenb with hard labour by Mr Northcroft ab the Police Gourb this morning. It was stated thab she had a child five years old who would have to be left to the mercies of the neighbours until the mother returned. Mr Norbhcrofb spoke strongly regarding tha woman getting drunk when such a jouag child wab dependent upon her.
