EXPLOSION ON A STEAMER

Paris, January 18. A quantity of dynamite hidden in a package of ostrich feathers exploded in tho mail room on the Menageries Maritimes Company's steamer Equatour on her arrival at Bordeaux. The explosion resulted in tho death of three sailors, and wrecked the vessel amidships. New York, January 18. The use of dynamite bombs in the United States is increasing. So far, only isolated cases are reported, and various motives are suggested.
