A tklegram from Blenheim to the " Evening Press " states that a prospector of tb'e- old workings-ffi the Dead Horse Creek, Wakamarina, has opened up a reef, which i» stated to be better than anything that has been opened up in the colony for the past 12 or 15 years. A 30-acre lease has been applied for and pegged out, and a battery, tailing site, and water-rights have been secured. -
