The match between the City Ramblers and the Bombay cricket club yesterday, wa9 won by the homo team by 5C runs on the firsb innings. Bombay batted first, and pub up the respectable total of 84, tho double figures being J. E. Elliott 29, Evans 21, and Jactfson 17. Macpherson secured four wickets for 9 runs, Groville 2 for 10, nnd Christian 3 for 34. . Tho visitor?, on a rather bumpy wicket, did not seem at home, and were all dbpoaod of for 28, Macphereon contributing 9. After lunch the homo team again batted, and made 91, Jackson 27, Gillon 10, and Evans 10, doing best for their side. Christin had the respectable average of 4 for 12, and Lundon managed 3 for 17.
