LAWN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING.
The Auckland Lawn Tennis Championship Meeting opens ab Epsom ab 10 o'clock a.m. on Boxing Day. Ib is expected bhab bhe gathering will be most successful. _ Mr Fenwicke, the present champion, will be present from Christchurch, and aho Mr J. M. Marshall, an ex-champion. The Championship Combined Doubles promises to ba productive of particularly good play. The meeting should have bhe eflecb of improvl ing bhe play of our local lawn tennis en« thusiasta.
