Messrs A. Buckland and Sons' Weekly Report.—AbtheHaymarketduring the past week meadow hay has brought 2s 9d ; oaten sheaves, 2a 6d to 3s 9d cwt; maize, 2s lOd ; wheat, 2a lOd ; oats, 2s 6d the bushel, at ship's aide ; maize, 2s 9d the bushel at railway atation ; chaff, £2 10s to £3 the ton. On Friday horse stock offered abundantly, and lower values ruled. Strong (horses brought from £12 to £18; ponies, 30a to £5 ; hacks and light harness broughb £7 to £10 10s each. On Tuesday hides in full number. Cow hides were better worth, and Irom l|d to 2jd; ox hides, 2Jd bo 3§d ; calf skins, 2^d to 3|d tho lb ; bones, 3s and 35.3d; tallow, 17s to ISs the cwb: rough fat, l_d the lb ; sheep skins wero ab late values, and bags, dumps, and pockets of wool equalled the prices given for bale?. Ab Pokeno on Monday a fair muster of quieb dairy cows wero yarded and met a fair market, prices ranged from £4 10s to £7 10s ; fat cows, £4 10a to £5 os each ; steers, £3 to £4 10a. Ab Drury the largest number of cabtle for this season wero penned, mostly yearlings to two-year-olds ; also several pens of grown bullocks. There was a full attendance of buyers, and satisfactory prices given. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattla were in moderate number, and without alteration in value. Store cattle of all classes sold freely, and kepb their values. Calves in moderabe number were ab loss value, unless of choicer qualiby bhan usual. Fat cattle infull supply, 228 yarded, sold irregularly, and were lower than last week ; prices wero from 18s bo 20s tho lOOlbs, bub tho greater parb ab tho lattor prico. Sheep abundant, and scarcely sustained lasb week's values ; 1,164 sold; prices for wethers ranged from 8a 6d to 13s; ewes, 7s to 10s 6d. Lambs, also in full number, wore ab lasb week's values ; plump lambs sold freely at from 8a to lis, bnb large-framed, woll-woolled lambs, notao well-fatted, wereat6seach ;546a01d. Pigs,in moderate number, were required, and kept thoir values. Messrs Hunter and Nolan's Weekly Report.—Cattle ; The supply has been largo and demand good, and the previous week's values were mainbainod. Ab Newmarket on Tuesday, we yarded 385 head of store catblo of all deacripbiona, bhere was a large attendance, grown steers and cowe wore in brisk demand at late values, young cattle were lower. Wo quote : Dairy cows, from £4 10s to £6 15. ; store cows, from £3 to £4s 53 ; grown steers, from £4 to £5 12s 6d. Wo also held our Christmas beef market on Tuesday, when a large number of very prime animals were disposed of. Compebition was steady throughout bhe sale ab trom 20s bo 21s the 1001b. The Newmarket yards wore crammed wibh sheep and lambs. Sheep we're aboub Is a head lower, bub lambs were ab late values. A fair number of good porkers sold well. Messrs G. W.Binneyand Sons' Report. — On Tuesday we cleared a large catalogue of hide?. Bheepskins, and tallow. Prime ox pold from 5d to s_d ; extra heavy stout, 4._ d to 4gd ; stout, 3_d to 4d; medium, 3d to 3Jd; steer and light ox, 2_A bo 2Jd. Cow hides aro in dotnand, and all good lines Bold from 2,d to 2^d ; web, lgd bo 2d ; inferior, ljd to lkl par lb. Calf, 3£d to 3|d per lb. Damaged are ab low values. Sheepskins : Country dry, sound pelted, 4d to 5d per lb ; inferior, -id to 3d per lb; local green and country salted pelts, 8d to 9d oach ; lambs, la to Is 4d. Tallow and Bones :No change to report. On Wednesday, sold a large lot of dumps and bags of wool.
