THE LATEST INTERVIEW,
Sydney, bhis day. The Hon. Mclntyre, Victorian Minister of Lands, who returned by the Wairarapa from Auckland, in the course of an interview, stated that any apprehension he had of the success of the Victorian village settlements was considerably abated after observing the working of the system in New Zealand. As regards the frozen meat trade, he considered that Victoria was as suitably situated as New Zealand for the development of the trade. Tho importance of the subject was so greab bhat Victoria should nob delay in enbering upon bhe brade already commenced.
