Wellington, this day. A fresh instance of the prevailing ignorance of the provisions ef the Alcoholic Liquorß Sale Control Act was afforded ab the quarterly licensing meeting to-day, when several applications for transfer had been adjourned because they were nob accompanied by a certificate signed by the Resident Magistrate. Those applications bearing date for October 2nd, wh6n the Act came into force, werp granted.
