THE MASONIC SCANDAL.
Melbourne, December 5.
It is believed ihat the result of the investigation by the Board has been to confirm the allegations regarding the deficiencies in the benevolent lurid of the Masonic Lodge, but as the officer concerned was not present at the enquiry, he may yet be able to satisfactorily account for the. shortages. It is expected the Grand Lodge will meet on the 18th, to receive the statement of the Grand Master.
