BRITISH BROKEN HILL COMPANY.

London, November 21. At the meeting of shareholders of the British Broken Hill Co.. Mr Jas. McAndrew, Chairman of Company, stated that Mr Woodhead, who represents the Adelaide shareholders, had made random statements as to the immense reserve of carbonate ore in the mines. They were misleading, for the highest estimate of one in sight was only sixty thousand tons. There were some other bodies of one-halt that amount. He said the rumour that negotiations were proceeding for sale of the entire property to the Proprietary Company, was purely imaginary.. Mr Knox said chemical difficulties had upset all their anticipations.
