THE NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT.
Sydney, November 21. In the- Legislative Assembly, the Premier, in reply to a question, promised to introduce a Bill providing for second ballots at Parliamentary elections under certain circumstances. The Mining on Private Property Bill was further considered in commitee. The Minister of Public Works stated that he was prepared to recognise the voice of the Lower Chamber, and had decided to abandon the royalty to private owners, which the Lower House had strenuously opposed.
