Not having time to see my friends in the country, I have therefore lost this opportunity of assisting to "get justten for my Northern brother settlers, gumdigKcrs nnd others, rich or poor. If the time hail not been shortened. I thought to have had time to be the last to address the Electors at the different settlements, but I now sincerely thank the Electors who intended to vote for one whose wish is for the general good, and hope by this experience to be able to have a better chance next titno.
