After putting back to Sydney to repair a alight accident to her machinery, ehe eteamer finally sailed ab 8 p.m. on the 4bb, and sighting Cape Maria Van Diemen ab 5 p.m. on the 12bb, she had to cohbend wibh sbrong to fresh head winds and seas. Down bhe coasb 3he had a fresh southerly breeze, and she anchored off bhe Hobson -street Wharf on arrival. Capbain Cain, who came over in charge, speaks very highly of the sea quali- , ties of ehe staunch libtle craft, and said she behaved excellently in the heavy Boas experienced on the brip across.
