THE SILVER CRISIS.
SHERMAN ACT REPEALED.
Washington, October 31. The Silver Repeal Bill bas passed bhe Senabe by 43 to 32.
London, Ocbober 31
The " Times " says the victory of the anti-silver men in the Senate is entirely due to President Cleveland's firmness and courage. The "Standard " expects the President's next step will be to bring about an immediate reduction of the tariff.
