THE EGMONT SEAT.
Stratford, this day. Mr Allswortjt, editor of the Egmont' "Settler," ..has been asked to contest Egmont in the Government interest. He has taken a prominent part in local politics, and is a consistent opponent of tho New Plymouth Harbour rate. He defers his decision until after the Premier's visit to the district.
