At a meeting of the Charitable Aid Board to-day, a resolution wa& adopted to bhe effect bbat bhe Board trusted that electors of the colony would demand the explicib promise from all candidates that they would be in favour of improved legislation dealing with the growing evils of pauperfern and its widening results.
