PROTESTS BY ALLEGED OWNERS.
At Samuel Cochrane and Son's marb tof ? av two properties were submitted for .ale by auction, by order of the Registrar of the Supreme Court ab Auckland. Alloti went 10, subdivision of part of lob 29, .action 8, euburb3 of Auckland, having a frontage of 33 feet to Summer-street, PonInnbv by 91 feet deep, with cottage thereon Irected, was first offered. Mr E. Sayers said be pr°fceßfcet* againsb the sale of bhe nroperty- **c nel(* a rece *Pc from & Vaile and Sons as being the owner, and also a deed signed by bhe owner. He had been in occupation of the property over two years, and not give up uosaesaion. Mr Dacre, the auctioneer, eaid that he was authorised bo Bell the property by order of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, and he then produced the authority and proceeded with the sale. The property was knocked down to Mr Reid (of Hesketb and Richmond) for £30. Tho next lob offered was allotment 18 and south-west portion of allotment 21, Parish of Abipara, County of Mangonui. Mr Armstrong, solicitor, said thab he protested againsb the sale on behalf of the owner. However, bidding was proceeded with. The lob fell to the nod of Mr Hughes, golioitor, when the bidding reached £110.
