THE PRICE OF WOOL.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln yours of the 17th, there appears a letter on the price of wool in Auckland. It is easy to understand why wool is so low here. If " Wool-grower " would bring his sheep up to bhe same standard a3 in other places of the colony, ho would geb jusb as good prices for his wool and mutton. ]Sew South Wales is going in for cross-bred merino. I advise " Woolgrower" to go in for "Try back?."' He will then geb a fine fleece which will fetch a good price.—l am, oto., Ex-Southern Farmer.
